Major renovation, introduction of energy efficiency measures for Kindergarten №17 "Dr. Petar Beron" - city of Varna

The project, financed with EUR 1 million from the Recovery and Resilience Plan, concerns the modernization and renovation of the educational infrastructure of Kinter Garden № 17 “Dr. Petar Beron” – Varna.

With the activities under the project the following measures will be realized:

• Ensuring healthy and favorable environment;
• Adopting energy efficiency measures;
• Making the building in conformity with the requirements for providing accessible environment

Achieving contemporary and corresponding to the new requirements material basis of the educational infrastructure are of a great importance for creating favorable, inclusive environment aiming at improving the conditions for growing up children and adopting learning skills and motivation for learning.

The changes in the methodology in the educational process require their adequate application in the creation of new study environment, which meets the needs and tendencies in the children development as a whole.

The renovation of the building basis guarantees high quality and effectiveness of the whole educational process, in conformity with the requirements of the Bulgarian normative basis and the aims of Europe 2020, as well as the relevant legislation acts. 

The project contributes to the implementation of Ministry of Education and Science policies for the creation of modern environment in the educational institutions providing complex educational reform in the country.
