Legislative transparency, debureaucratisation and procedural simplification for business

The reform consists in legislative transparency, de-bureaucratisation and procedural simplification for business by amending the following normative acts:

1. Law no. 31/1990 on commercial companies, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions (Ministry of Justice);

2. Law no. 26/1990 on the trade register, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions (Ministry of Justice).

The two laws are amended by Law no. 265/2022 on the trade register and for the amendment and completion of other normative acts with an impact on the registration in the trade register, published in MO no. 750/26.07.2022; 3. Decree-Law no. 122/1990 regarding the authorization and operation in Romania of the representative offices of foreign companies and economic organizations, with subsequent amendments and additions: Government Ordinance no. 18/2022 regarding the authorization and operation in Romania of the representative offices of foreign companies and economic organizations was published in MO no. 779/04.08.2022 and approved by Law no. 95/2023 published in M.0. no. 320/18.04 2023; 4. Law no. 53/2003 on the Labor Code, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions (Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity). Law no. 283/2022 for the amendment and completion of Law no. 53/2003 Labor Code, as well as for the amendment and completion of GEO no. 57/2019 regarding the Administrative Code was published in MO no. 1013/19.10.2022.
