Legislative transparency, debureaucratisation and procedural simplification for business

Legislative transparency, de-bureaucratization and procedural simplification intended for the business environment, related to Component 9 Support for the private sector, research, development and innovation of PNRR, Entry into force of the "Single Industrial License" law.

The Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism in collaboration with the Competition Council (co-initiator) developed the draft of the Government's emergency ordinance regarding the single industrial license. Emergency Government Ordinance no. 140/2022 regarding the single industrial license was published in MO no. 1023/20.10.2022, approved by Law no. 98/2023 published in M.O. no. 321/18.04.2023.

On 13.12.2023, Government Decision no. 1251/2023 regarding the organization and functioning of the Industrial License Office, as well as for the completion of annex no. 1 to Government Decision no. 832/2022 regarding the establishment of the duties, organization and functioning of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
