IPCEI Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure and Services (IPCEI CIS) - FH Dortmund / EMULATE (Dortmund)

The IPCEI-CIS’ main objective is the creation of an entirely new decentralised environment, which will enable software infrastructure for the advanced use of data processing resources from Cloud to Edge.

The EMULATE – Concepts and tools for measuring, analysing and optimising the performance of edge services in the European Cloud-Edge Continuum – project at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts aims to provide a flexibly configurable emulation and diagnostic platform that enables the creation of a digital twin of a Cloud-Edge infrastructure; the project thus accelerates the planning process for customised Cloud- edge solutions and increases their quality.
