IPCEI Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure and Services (IPCEI CIS) - Airbus / AXIS (Hamburg)

The IPCEI-CIS’ main objective is the creation of an entirely new decentralised environment, which will enable software infrastructure for the advanced use of data processing resources from Cloud to Edge.

Airbus Operations GmbH‘s AXIS – Aero Concept for Cloud Information Services – project connects aircrafts as „flying edge devices“ to an IPCEI-CIS compliant infrastructure.

This enables optimised operations and efficient and (cyber-)secure integration of services.

A European, federated, open and decentralised Cloud infrastructure is essential here.
