Investment in the extension of the Hotiza wastewater treatment plant - Urban waste water discharge and treatment projects

The aim of the investment is to build on part of the Hotiz waste water discharge and treatment system.

The municipality of Lendava is carrying out a reconstruction of the Hotiza treatment plant for 950 population units. The existing waste water treatment plant operates according to the immersion technology that is dilapitated and is no longer produced by the manufacturer due to outdated and energy-wasting technology. The municipality will therefore reconstruct the treatment plant with a more modern and efficient technology.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 125,546, while the total value of the investment is EUR 219,399. 

The project started in 2022 and will be finalised by 2024.
