Investment in equity and quasi-equity financial instruments

The objective of this investment is to ensure a faster development of private companies that are unable to obtain financing from traditional financial institutions, through (co)-investment in active or forthcoming venture capital funds and in private equity funds, with particular focus on financing the  start-up and growth stages of innovative and scale-up Small-and-Medium sized enterprises (SMEs) through the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR).

The Instrument is implemented via financial intermediaries and in cooperation with the European Investment Fund.

It amounts to almost EUR 30 million.

Eligible companies include MidCap enterprises and Small-andMedium sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking capital investment, with a particular focus on start-ups and growth stages of innovative and scale-up SMEs.
