Innovative drying system for the processing and treatment of mushrooms and their extracts - MycoMedica Kranjska Gora

With the implementation of this project, the company aims to modernize and improve the material, energy, and time efficiency of its production. 

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 0.08 million.

The innovative drying system will enable the optimization of the production process in terms of time, finances, energy, and space. A multi-step production process will be established, in which raw mushrooms are used as the initial ingredients and are gradually processed into the final product, which is ready for human consumption, through individual procedures in each unit of the system.    

The investment covers four main units of the system: the construction of a drying chamber and its connection to a cooling and heating unit with a central control system (CHUCCS), the connection of a freeze dryer to CHUCCS, the connection of a conical dryer for extraction to CHUCCS heating and cooling vacuum points.
