Increasing access to culture in culturally deprived areas, TEATRU ÎN COMUNITĂȚI RURALE DIN MARAMUREȘ

The project, TEATRU ÎN COMUNITĂȚI RURALE DIN MARAMUREȘ, which received EUR 38,523.88 without VAT, is a theater caravan travelling a pre-determined route through 10 rural communities, where it presents two theater performances in the villagers' stables or in alternative playgrounds: one dedicated to children and one dedicated to adults.

The teenagers from each village are invited to spend 2 hours in a theater workshop supported by two professional actors.The project aims to increase access to artistic events in the municipalities of Satulung, Cupșeni, Bogdan Vodă, Petrova, Moisei, Săpânța, Fărcașa, Desești, Cicârlău, and Copalnic Mănăștur in Maramureș County, and to invest 150 teenagers with basic notions of performing arts.
