Increasing access to culture in culturally deprived areas, EDUCAȚIE PRIN CULTURĂ

During the project EDUCAȚIE PRIN CULTURĂ - PROMOVAREA OBICEIURILOR DE SÂNZIENE ÎN COMUNA VAIDEENI, which received EUR 35,998.46 without VAT, children had the opportunity to discover one of the local traditions, the Sînziene customs, where representatives of the partners shared best practices, innovative approaches in non-formal education and handcrafted, together with the young people in the target group, traditional handicrafts symbolizing the region, sewing and embroidering traditional motifs, making beads and flowers of Sînziene, painting, decorating and printing specific to the Vaideeni area.

The works made by the children could be admired in the exhibition.

Throughout this journey, young people, educators, artisans and community members were brought together to explore and celebrate the cultural richness, to get actively involved in preserving these traditions, and to strengthen the cultural identity of the Vaideeni commune.
