Copyright: Romanian Government Launched in 1978 in Sfântu Gheorghe, COLOCVIUL TEATRELOR MINORITĂȚILOR NAȚIONALE - EDIȚIA XIV / the National Minorities Theater Colloquium, which received EUR 33,388.78 without VAT, is a theater festival dedicated to cultural diversity, local and community identities, artistic proposals formulated at the confluence of cultures otherwise separated by customs, history and language.It is a space for dialogue between the "majority" theatrical culture - the mainstream Romanian theater and the "minority" - which formulates its own profile in the dual context of the Romanian theater movement and its own theatrical traditions.Now in its 14th edition, this event is a meeting point for Hungarian, German and Yiddish-speaking theatres in Romania, as well as a unique festival format in Europe dedicated to local identities, problematic relations of multi-ethnic or multicultural communities.The program includes performances by minority theatre institutions, productions of workshops, experimental theatre groups, debates, conferences.
