Increasing access to culture in culturally deprived areas, COLIND MALAIA

The project, COLIND MALAIA! EXPLORARE CREATIVĂ PE VALEA LOTRULUI, which received EUR 39,267.60 without VAT, proposes the creative exploration of the Lotru River Valley, putting in the foreground the inhabitants of Malaia commune, with four action directions developed together with the community and local cultural actors.

Activities include:

  • research/documentation sessions and various artistic creations inspired by them (creative writing, music, photography, video)
  • dedicated to the promotion of cultural heritage as a creative resource;
  • multi-art film screenings, meetings with artists, concerts, interdisciplinary performances, realization of a mediate
  • specific approaches to education through culture;
  • realization of a transdisciplinary exhibition (with multimedia works and objects borrowed from the community's personal collections) and creative workshops for children, based on the identification of local values
  • events specific to participatory art;
  • realization of a website to present and promote local resources and the resulting artistic products
  • a specific approach to digital arts.
