Improving the quality of services for people with disabilities at the Opal Day Center, Arad

The objectives of the project are: to increase access to the services offered by the Opal Day Centre for Adults with Disabilities, by providing services at the beneficiaries' homes by equipping them with a car, and to increase the quality of life of the beneficiaries of the Opal Day Centre for Adults with Disabilities by expanding and developing the existing therapies by equipping them with specialized equipment and with equipment for the production and use of renewable electricity.

An innovative component of the project consists in the purchase of special equipment to support the increase of the degree of habilitation and rehabilitation of people with various disabilities: 1 multi-sensory stimulation and recovery system through virtual reality, 1 set for the development of motor skills, 1 machine for scanning and cutting materials necessary for the habilitation/rehabilitation of beneficiaries, 1 embroidery machine and office equipment, 1 kinetotherapy/medical recovery trellis, as well as 2 laptops.
