The goal of this investment is to improve air quality by reducing particulate emissions through the replacement of high-emission heat sources and enhancing the energy efficiency of single-family and multi-family residential buildings.

The investment will be implemented through the Clean Air Priority Program, whose modernization—aligned with the long-term renovation strategy based on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive—is one of the key actions within Reform B1.1.

The program will build upon the existing experience of the Clean Air Priority Program. Investments will include: (i) the replacement of inefficient heating systems for space and water heating, (ii) thermal modernization of residential buildings, or (iii) the installation of renewable energy systems (primarily photovoltaic panels and solar collectors).
