Copyright: Ministry of Finance, Tax Administration The goal of this investment was to set-up a new IT system for registering electronic invoices (e-invoices) issued by public authorities for non-cash payment in the Tax Administration Information System, along with a VAT advanced online accounting system. This aimed to reduce the administrative burden on taxpayers, improve tax compliance, and enhance transparency and efficiency in public financial management. The project achieved this by developing a new IT system for registering eInvoices within the Tax Administration’s Information System, simplifying tax return processes, and introducing a data analytics platform to support real-time monitoring of economic activity and fiscal responsibility. The system also improved interoperability among stakeholders, reduced paper usage, and helped prevent VAT fraud. The total funding from the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) amounted to 14,2 million EUR.The project has been successfully completed, with the new system for eInvoice registration and advanced VAT accounting now fully operational and available for use by all relevant stakeholders.Additional media: Additional links:https://porezna-uprava.gov.hr/hr/objavljene-detaljnije-informacije-o-razmjeni-i-fiskalizaciji-eracuna/7684https://porezna-uprava.gov.hr/hr/nacionalni-plan-oporavka-i-otpornosti/4725https://porezna-uprava.gov.hr/hr/fiskalizacija-eracuna-7716/7716 ReferenceC2.3.
