Copyright: Città metropolitana di Torino School building security and structural rehabilitation plan (Mission 4 – Component 1 - Investment 3.3)Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan contributes to climate recovery also by enhancing school buildings’ safety and energy consumption.In particular, this measure aims to contribute to the improvement of energy classes and leading to lower consumption and CO2 emissions as well as to increase structural safety of buildings.Particular attention is paid to the most disadvantaged areas with the aim of tackling and eliminating economic and social imbalances.The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 4.4 billion.The project consisting in structural interventions is part of this investment.The school building that houses the "Lagrange" of Via Genè 14 is the subject of a major regulatory and seismic adjustment.To complete, the contract in question includes: reinforcement roof carpentry and laying new insulated cover; reinforcement side staircase Dora connections; fixed parapet installation in roofing; demolition and complete renovation of toilets body classrooms and changing rooms body gym; supply and installation of new interior fixtures body classrooms; closing windows rooms of the river side baths Dora; complete interior decoration of the body classrooms, excluding the basement.
