Copyright: Freepik The purpose of the investment is to install self-sufficient solar power plants on public buildings belonging to 20 consortium partners at 102 locations, with a total installed capacity of 4,641.10 kWp and an estimated annual production of 4,810.18 kWh. The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 3.39 million.The project will be implemented in public facilities in the municipalities of Hoče-Slivnica, Ivančna Gorica, Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici, Gornja Radgona, Sveta Trojica, Makole, Hajdina, Ruše, Grosuplje, Miklavž na Dravskem Polju, Rače-Fram, Duplek, Starše, Selnica ob Dravi, and the City Municipality of Maribor. The Ptuj Retirement Home, Grosuplje Retirement Home, Dr. Jože Potrč Poljčane Retirement Home, Lukavci Retirement Home, and Lendava Retirement Home are also included in the project. The main objectives of the consortium in implementing this project are to increase the production of electricity from renewable sources for self-sufficiency, reduce dependence on rapid and unexpected changes in electricity prices on the market, reduce electricity costs, and reduce the carbon footprint.
