The project aims to develop high-frequency RF telecommunications components for small-scale satellites ready for industrial production. The objective is the so-called functional high-frequency RF telecommunications components for small satellites or a system intended for communication with other satellites or with a ground station. The project promotes R&D activities in the consortium of companies Paradigma Technologies, d.o.o. and Cosylab, d.d. in the context of green transition to develop new products with both ecological and financial challenges.

The development of high-frequency RF telecommunications components for small satellites will be a high value-added product with high market potential. The project is encroaching on the fast-growing global space conquering market, where a consortium of companies can make a significant contribution and the technology itself makes a significant contribution to higher added value, as sales prices in this segment are also higher.

A newly developed high-frequency RF telecommunications system, suitable for real-world applications, technologically neutral in terms of environmental impact, and in particular positive environmental impact through minituarisation and weight reduction, resulting in lower fuel consumption in space launches, lower material consumption and reduced waste.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 299,880, while the total value of the investment is EUR 619,618.

The project started in December 2022 and will be completed by November 2024.
