The project aims at developing flexible and high-efficiency gas production capacity for cogeneration of electricity and heat (CHP) for district heating in the Constanta Municipality with a view to achieving decarbonisation. The project will increase the heat generation capacity by complying with the latest standards and requirements in the field of energy efficiency. The proposed cogeneration solution aims at meeting the requirements of the Energy Efficiency Directive regarding the overall efficiency, primary energy saving and reduction of emissions of greenhouse gases and pollutants into the air, as well as meeting the specific emission limits. The financing contract has been signed with the Constanta Municipality. More information can be found on the project webpage here and on social media here.
