Greening education infrastructure in Slovenia

The objective of the investment is to contribute to the provision of more modern and environmentally friendly education infrastructure.

The investment consists of the construction of 9 educational institutions:

1. Construction of the new building of the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Ljubljana;
2. Construction of the Campus Vrazov trg of the Medical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana;
3. Sports hall of the Postojna Secondary School of Forestry and Woodworking - gymnasium;
4. Ljubljana Media and Graphics High School;
5. Construction of an extension to the CIRIUS Kamnik facility;
6. Construction of a facility for the Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Ljubljana;
7. Sports hall of Gymnasium Šiška;
8. Reconstruction and energy renovation of part of the Ljubljana technical high school building;
9. Renovation and extension of the Jesenice High School.

New constructions will be high energy-efficient buildings with a primary energy demand of at least 20 % below the nearly zero-energy building requirement.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 113.3 million. All investments will be completed by June 2026.
