Copyright: Nensuria on Freepik The project Green, Digital and Inclusive University of Primorska includes three pilot projects focusing on curricular renewal of higher education professional study programmes, which will serve as a basis for a broader national reform for a green resilient transition to Society 5.0.The pilot projects aim at equipping students with the competences for a green and digital transition to Society 5.0. At the heart of this are the principles of the University of Primorska, such as a quality student experience; flexible study pathways; an adaptive and responsive learning environment; alignment with lifelong learning concepts; and ensuring equal opportunities and gender balance in all fields of study.The first pilot project Green University of Primorska foresees the piloting of a Master's degree programme in Data Science, the development of a higher professional degree programme in Sustainable Built Environment, the development of Green Transition content within the Science Centre, and activity in the field of sport.The second pilot project, Digital University of Primorska, foresees five core activities through which the contribution to the green and digital transition is clearly reflected: the introduction of the digital PAI, the digitalisation and sustainability of tourism, the establishment of a simulation centre and a nutrition consultation room, green and digital transition competences in pre-school education, the development of a higher professional degree programme in Marketing and Sales 5.0.The third pilot project, Inclusive University of Primorska, foresees four main activities: the establishment of an Alumni Office, lifelong learning and microcredentials in the field of public health, the creation of an ecosystem for microcredentials, and activities to increase the proportion of students in higher professional study programmes who successfully complete their studies.The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 5.8 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 6.3 million.
