Generative artificial intelligence in education - The comprehensive transformation of green and digital education

The project aims to contribute to the comprehensive, efficient and effective use of generative AI in the educational process at different levels of education.

Specific project objectives: 

1. Explore the importance of generative AI in terms of perception of changing learning and teaching from the perspective of different stakeholders by reflecting on didactic, legal, financial and ethical aspects of the use of generative AI in domestic education and education;

2. Analysis of the state and needs of the educational institutions for the efficient and effective use of generative AI in the educational process in Slovenia;

3. Develop baselines/guidance for the efficient and effective use of generative AI for modern teacher and student learning and teaching;

4. Develop sample learning scenarios in the field of generative AI use in selected educational institutions;

5. Develop guidelines for the efficient and effective use of generative AI for and in education.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 1 million, the total value of the investment. The project started in May 2024 and will be finalised in May 2026.
