Fiber optic infrastructure in buildings (Smart Readiness)

The project aims to upgrade the "smart readiness" of the country's existing building stock through the installation of modern digital infrastructure that will facilitate the process of obtaining ultra-high-speed broadband services and the interconnection with meters of public utility networks.

It includes:

• the installation of optical fiber networks facilitating the provision of ultra-high speed broadband services in all areas of the building (apartments, offices, shops, etc.)
• the installation of infrastructure for future interconnecting with utility network meters (electricity, natural gas)
• the installation of infrastructure for  future interconnecting of the central heating boiler room and elevator.

The RRF budget amounts to € 108,4 million
