Copyright: Municipality of Gornja Radgona The goal of the investment was to make the region attractive, to invest and create jobs by expanding the existing industrial zones.There are a relatively large number of companies in the municipality and existing industrial zones are practically filled. At the same time, urban development of the city is an urgent relocation of industry, which is still located in the centre of Gornja Radgona. Companies located in the city centre has shown an interest in moving to the IC Mele expansion area as part of the project.The project activities included the construction of:rain sewer (482 m)faecal sewer (1,178 m)water supply (625 m)road network (631 m)pavement and cycling path (580 m)public lighting (700 m)7 parking areas (87.5 m2); and - 1 charging station for electric vehicles.Green areas were also set up, trees planted and a reservoir for collection and re-use of storm water installed.The Recovery and Resilience Facility provided funding of EUR 1 million, while the total value of the investment was EUR 1.8 million.
