Establishment of SLAP business unit - Support for decarbonisation, productivity, and competitiveness of companies

The project aims to establish a new SLAP business unit in Tržič.
    
The project includes:

• construction of new energy efficient production premises
• relocation of the nonwovens cutting production programme to the new location,
• the purchase and commissioning of automation on both cutting machines to increase efficiency
• procurement and commissioning of a strip cutting planning programme to reduce the generation of technological rejects,
• the procurement and commissioning of a nonwovens waste grinding mill to reduce the volume of waste,
• the purchase and commissioning of an automatic coil cutting machine to reduce transport volumes.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility contributes EUR 350,000 to the investment worth EUR 2.9 million in total. The project started in April 2022 and should be finalised by August 2025.
