Establishment of the governance structure of the Natura 2000 Network

The reform set up аn effective Natura 2000 network with amendments to the Biodiversity Act.

They introduce structures for the management of the Natura 2000 network at national and regional level.

The reform  also introduced a requirement for all protected areas to be managed on the basis of planning documents defining site-specific conservation objectives and measures.

The implementation of the reform has been completed.
