Electrification of transport

The reform is a law setting minimum targets of clean vehicles in public procurement and public transport. 

The law, adopted in November 2021, exceeds the requirements of the Clean Vehicles Directive by setting the minimum thresholds for each contracting authority and entity.

 This measure contributes to decarbonisation of the road transport sector, which accounts for half of Luxembourg`s emissions.
