Electrification heat treating furnaces 1-3

Neuman Aluminium Strangpresswerk GmbH produces aluminum components in Lilienfeld (Lower Austria). At this site, the company is now planning to switch from natural gas-fired to electrical heat treatment furnaces. 

In order to significantly reduce GHG emissions, the electrical heat treatment process will in future take place on two efficient electrical lines instead of three gas-fired lines.

The annual greenhouse gas emissions are expected to be reduced by approx. 600 tons. The project is currently in the construction phase.
