Effective treatment of communicable and chronical diseases

The aim of the investment is to strengthen and improve the capacity to treat infectious and chronic diseases in Slovenia. The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 70 million.

The purchase and delivery of four linear accelerators for the Maribor Oncology Center and the construction of the Ljubljana Infectious Diseases Clinic up to the third construction phase, with accompanying works from the fourth and fifth construction phases, are planned.

Artisanal and installation works directly linked to the third construction phase shall be carried out. Some of the accompanying works from the fourth and fifth construction phases shall also be supported.

The investment is currently underway and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026.
