The project created a high-quality and energy-efficient drinking water supply system in the territory of the Municipality of Dobrna.

The population benefited from improved access to health-adequate drinking water, higher quality of housing and conditions for sustainable environmental and spatial development.

The project consisted of the construction of a water supply network in the area of Brdce above Dobrna and Dobrna. There was no complete public water supply system in the area before the investment. The construction improved the living conditions in the settlements in the municipality of Dobrna.

The investment consisted of the construction of 8,133 m of the distribution network, the construction of two pumping stations, the construction of a service facility for the preparation of drinking water at the Dobrna treatment plant and the construction of three aquifers. With the construction of the missing water supply system, the water system of the municipality of Dobrna is now rounded to the whole.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provided funding of EUR 1 million, while the total value of the investment was EUR 2.1 million. The project started in June 2022 and was finalised in December 2024.
