Copyright: European Commission As part of the project "Digitization of education at the level of primary schools, secondary schools and adult education (equipment)", the Novo mesto School Centre acquired two robotic arms in June 2024.Robotic arms will enable students to acquire knowledge in the field of automation and robotics, encourage creativity, experimentation and interactive learning. The acquired skills will increase their competitiveness on the labor market, as students will perform exercises using advanced tools that simulate the modern working environment, and in this way equip themselves with knowledge and skills that will prepare them for the challenges of the future. The cost of the two robotic arms amounts to EUR 58,000, in fully covered by the Recovery and Resilience Facility.Novo mesto School Centre was among 30 educational institutions running educational programs in the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics and mechanical engineering, that received 36 robotic hands worth over one million euros. This was the first phase of the investment, soon to be followed by new acquisitions in ICT equipment for more than 1,000 educational institutions. The projects will be finalised by June 2026.Additional links:https://www.sc-nm.si/napovednik/pridobitev-robotske-roke--abbhttps://www.gov.si/novice/2024-06-11-ministrstvo-solam-kupilo-36-robots…https://slovenia.representation.ec.europa.eu/novice-dogodki/novice-0/di…Top 100 recipients:Ministry of Education, projects:Digitization of education at the level of primary schools, secondary schools and adult education (equipment) Digitization of education at the level of primary schools, secondary schools and adult education (services)Monitoring the employability of PIU graduatesDIG CentreAnalitical hub Copyright: European Commission Copyright: European Commission ReferenceC2.K7.IJProject locations Slovenia EU contribution€58 000 Project websitehttps://www.sc-nm.si/napovednik...
