Digitalisation and integration of operating rooms equipped with robotic surgery in Clinical Hospital Centre ‘KBC Sestre Milosrdnice’

The objective of this measure was to digitalise the operating theatres and to purchase the advanced treatment equipment for new modern surgical treatments. 

Digitalisation and integration of operating rooms shall change the planning, documentation, storage and sharing of data on patients and types and methods of operational treatment. 

Robot surgery shall improve the quality of surgical treatment, increase patient safety, achieve more transparency in treatment, better cost control and health outcomes, strengthen and consolidate essential health information infrastructure resources, introduce a paperless health services system and contribute to the digital transition.
