The aim is to raise learners' basic skills in Computer and Information Science (CIS) by introducing innovative approaches and using modern digital tools. This will provide learners with learning opportunities, which is key to their equal empowerment to face the challenges of modern society and to thrive in the future.

The specific objectives of the project include the development and scaling up of an approach to raise the CIS core skills of learners.
in educational institutions (EIs), called the school-based approach. A tested model for the introduction of the core content will be set up in each of the participating EIs.

CIS, which corresponds to the general principles of digital didactics as well as to the needs of the learners in the EIs and the specificities of the local environment.

Among the expected results of the project are the elaboration and publication of the approaches of all the participating EIs in the field of CIS and raising learners' CIS core competences, including a catalogue of competences covering, performance criteria and proposed knowledge standards.

In addition, learning scenarios will be developed and made freely available on the Slovenian Education Network website (SIO.si).

The Recovery and Resilience Facility contributes EUR 523,000, the total value of the project. The project started in September 2024 and will be finalised by June 2026.
