The Poseidon project, led by the commercial and industrial vehicle company VECO, benefits from €27,000,000 in Next GenerationEU funding.

The project aims to drive the final application of innovative hydrogen technology in transportation.

With a total budget of €52,000,000, the project will boost complex R+D processes, new production capabilities, and manufacturing and maintenance facilities.

It will be developed at the company's headquarters in Barcelona, Madrid, and Valladolid, envisioning the production of a first series of heavy-duty commercial vehicles powered by hydrogen for regional and urban use.

Poseidon is part of the European Important Common Interest Project for Hydrogen Technology (PIICE Hy2Tech), which brings together 41 initiatives from 15 member states to contribute to achieving the economy's decarbonization goals.
