The Recovery and Resilience Facility is supporting the decarbonisation of the industrial sector in France, which is responsible for 21% of Greenhouse gas emissions. The textile company Petit bateau has received EUR 917 million to invest in more efficient industrial processes in its “historical” factory located in Troyes (500 employees). This investment will allow reducing the energy consumption by 2950 MWh/year, as well as CO2 emissions by 30% (e.g. a reduction of 631 tCO2eq/year) and water consumption by 50% by 2025.
