The project shall include both the development of the necessary digital tools (such as software and ICT infrastructure) as well as the upskilling of health workers and Ministry of Health personnel to use the system for data collection and information extraction. The module of the Cyprus Innovative Public Health information and communications technology (ICT) System is operational as of 24/11/22 and a system monitoring its effectiveness is in place. The Ministry of Health has assigned a number of doctors as sentinels to enter data in the Influenza Sentinel Surveillance (ISS) module of the Cyprus Innovative Public Health ICT System.
