The project aims to enhance accessibility to the Franciscan monastery with a library by creating an access route from Grad Vrbovec.

Its primary goal is to improve the visitor experience and promote tourism in the Upper Savinja Valley through the development of new products and cultural heritage showcases.

Key activities include upgrading the esplanade in front of the monastery, rebuilding the forest access route, and reconstructing the staircase for better accessibility.

Two new tourism products will be developed: "From Stones to Stars," a thematic route highlighting historical sites, and "Dance of Western Capercaillie" an outdoor social game. Infrastructure improvements will include a solar-powered bicycle charger, new rubbish bins, and smart seating.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 315,000, while the total value of the investment is EUR 481,000. The project started in 2023 and will be finalised by 2025.
