Conversion of the former waterworks in Písek - stage camp

The project aims to transform the former waterworks site into a campsite for visitors to Písek and a meeting place for local residents. This initiative will contribute to the revitalization of the brownfield site and support local businesses.

The location is ideal for a campsite, with the Otava River and the Otava cycle path in close proximity. The City of Písek plans to lease the renovated site for business purposes, specifically for operating the campsite.

As part of the project:

• The outdoor areas will be revitalized, including green spaces suitable for tents.
• Traffic management will be implemented, and parking spaces for caravans and motorhomes will be constructed.
• The main building of the former waterworks will be renovated to accommodate campsite facilities, including sanitary amenities, a kitchen, and technical rooms for heating and ventilation systems.
