School Sports Infrastructure Enhancement Plan (Mission 4, Component 1, Investment 1.3)Italy's Recovery and Resilience Plan provides this measure for strengthening sport infrastructure and encouraging sport activities. Reinforcing sporting activity is expected to combat early school leaving, enhance social inclusion and reinforce personal aptitudes.The investment will upgrade sports facilities and gyms attached to schools to ensure an increase in the educational offer and promote an increase in school time.The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 300 million.This project is part of this investment. The project aims at the construction of the gym, which will allow the social and urban redevelopment of the area, as well as to substantially enhance the services offered by the municipality towards schools.The possibility of practising different sports, volleyball, basketball, five-a-side football, will allow young people and others to practice athletic activities in different weather conditions, thanks to the coverage of the playing field. In this way, through the creation of spaces that favour the improvement of urban quality, the aim is to respond to the need for a new redevelopment process that benefits both the economic and social circuits.The building's construction system is planned as a reinforced concrete frame.It is planned:Installation of a radiant floor heating system;Installation of a solar thermal plant to supplement the production of hot water by the heat pump,Installation of a photovoltaic system dimensioned on the needs of the building;Rainwater recovery plant.The NRRP funds allocated to this project amount to EUR 826,500.
