Construction of a new kindergarten through building replacement

Plan for nurseries and preschools and early childhood education and care services (Mission 4 – Component 1 - Investment 1.1) 

Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan provides for increasing the supply of childcare facilities by building, renovating and ensuring the safety of nurseries and preschools, to ensure an increase in the educational offer and the available slots for the 0-6 age group, and thus improve teaching quality. 

The measure is expected to encourage women’s participation in the labour market and support caregivers in reconciling family and professional life.

The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 3.2 billion.
