Construction of the Narcisa hotel in Banovci - The sustainable development of tourist accommodation offers to raise The added value of tourism

The project aims to build a new 4-star hotel - Narcisa.

A new construction will be added to the existing accommodation facility (a 3-star hotel) which will expand the capacity of the accommodation establishment. The existing 24 accommodation units will have an additional 31 butic accommodation units. It is a sustainable investment, consisting of investing in expanding the capacity of the existing accommodation establishment, raising the quality and added value of the tourism offer.

The investment will make an important contribution to sustainable development, raising the quality of touristic offer, increasing added value per employee, increasing accommodation capacity, developing new, marketable, unique tourism products (living), important developments in digitalisation and enhancing employees’ competences. 50 % of European funding will go to measures to achieve higher energy efficiency, contributing to the green transition.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 1.7 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 6.4 million. 

The project started in January 2023 and will be finalised by April 2026.
