Construction of municipal infrastructure in the Ajdovščina business economic zone: East and West expansion

The aim of the project is to provide new municipally equipped land for the construction of business and production facilities with good transport access, in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the economy, increase the added value of businesses and provide additional jobs. The project strengthens the existing ecosystem of the zone.

The project will ensure an accessible road with pavements, water and sewage network and cable lines for electricity and telecommunications networks. Public lighting will also be set up. At the same time as the construction of municipal infrastructure, the top of the shore of the water dyke off Hublj will increase to ensure flood safety. 

The municipality plans to develop around 3.7 hectares of new net area as part of the project. The gross area of the new area is 4.3 hectares.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 1.3 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 2.4 million. 

The project will be carried out between April 2022 and December 2024.
