The project aims to modernise the electricity distribution network.

By investing in the construction of substations and the low-voltage network, the company will accelerate the overall development and management of the distribution network to increase its capacity, resilience to disturbances, advancedness, connectivity and flexibility.

This will enable the exploitation of resource and load flexibility and the accelerated deployment of e-mobility, including charging points for electric vehicles and the integration of renewable energy generation and storage facilities.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility contributes EUR 5.0 million to the investment worth EUR 12.4 million in total. The project started in January 2023 and should be finalised by March 2026.
