Construction of distribution transformer stations and low voltage networks for the period 2023-2026 for the Elektro Ljubljana supply area

The project will modernize the electricity distribution network in line with the growing consumption of electricity from renewable sources.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 5.2 million.

Investments in the construction of transformer stations and low-voltage networks will accelerate the comprehensive development and management of the distribution network for greater capacity, resilience to disturbances, advanced features, connectivity, and flexibility, which will enable the exploitation of source and load flexibility and accelerate the introduction of e-mobility, including charging points for electric vehicles and the integration of devices for the production and storage of electricity from renewable energy sources.

The construction of 84.4 km of low-voltage network, 18 transformer stations with a capacity of 250 kVA, 23 transformer stations with a capacity of 400 to 630 kVA, and 13 transformer stations with a capacity of 1000 kVA is planned.
