The Recovery and Resilience Facility will provide EUR 180 million to create 4,500 new créche places in Hungary.

The aim of the measure is to increase the availability of early childhood education services by creating new places in créches.

The Reformed parish of Kaposvár has created a 2-group crèche with 28 places in the area of the city where there is no crèche.

The project included the installation of a 27 kWp solar panel system, a bicycle storage for 15 children, a créche room, a warming kitchen and social rooms, the employment of 1 professional manager and the purchase of equipment and facilities necessary for the operation of the créche.

The development will allow women taking care of children under three years of age at home to re-enter the labour market, either part-time or full-time.
The construction of the crèche has been completed and the crèche is operational.
