Copyright: CIRIUS Kamnik The aim of the project is to provide suitable spatial conditions for the operation of the institution in one location and thus also suitable surfaces for functionally disabled children and adolescents, which will enable a higher quality learning environment. The newly built facility, a two-story building connected to older buildings with a connecting corridor, is a highly energy efficient building with a primary energy requirement that is more than 20% lower than the requirement for nearly zero-energy buildings. The new building has six classrooms, three on each floor. The classrooms can be connected into one room thanks to the movable internal walls. Each classroom also has a rest room. In addition, there are toilets, conversation rooms, a common area with a kitchen for children and young people, and a kitchenette for workers. A solar power plant was also installed on the roof of the small gym. There are 1,497 square meters of newly built areas. The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 2.8 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 4.2 million. The project started in January 2021 and will be finalised by the end of 2024.Additional links:https://www.cirius-kamnik.si/2023/09/05/gradnja-prizidka-ppviz-k-objektu-cirius-kamnik/Top 100 recipients:CIRIUS Kamnik, project Construction of an annex to CIRIUS Kamnik Copyright: CIRIUS Kamnik Copyright: CIRIUS Kamnik Copyright: CIRIUS Kamnik ReferenceC3.K12.IHProject locations Slovenia EU contribution€2 800 000 Project websitehttps://www.cirius-kamnik.si/...
