Copyright: Jure Makovec / European Commission The goal of the project “Construction 4.0” was to implement a comprehensive digital transformation of the consortium’s leading partner, GIC GRADNJE, and a number of business functions with other partners (SRC d.o.o., Robotina d.o.o. and Sunesis d.o.o.).The project addressed the main digital technologies and digitalisation challenges identified in the construction industry. The ambition and complexity of the project is underpinned by the fact that construction is globally lagging behind in the digitalisation process. The project outcomes are the introduction of new methods, processes and ways of working as a positive impact of technologically advanced digital transformation. The activities of the sub-projects Construction site 4.0 and Concrete Plant 2.0. revamped and digitised processes on construction sites and concrete plants. With the introduction of the Construction Platform, contractors modernised process and documentation management and the Building as a platform changed the way buildings are perceived. The project also included the elaboration of a comprehensive digital strategy, placing a strong emphasis not only on the development and use of advanced digital technologies, but also on enhancing the digital competences of employees, changing (digital) culture and strengthening partners’ capacities. The two-year project was completed in March 2024. The Recovery and Resilience Facility support amounts to EUR 2.1 million, while the total value of the investment was EUR 5 million.Additional links:https://www.gic-gradnje.si/gradbenistvo_4_0https://slovenia.representation.ec.europa.eu/novice-dogodki/novice-0/gradbenistvo-40-betonarna-negonje-2024-06-17_slTop 100 recipients:GIC Gradnje, d.o.o., projects: Construction 4.0Concrete plant NegonjeFaster entry of young people into the labour marketSRC, d.o.o., project: Construction 4.0 Copyright: Jure Makovec / European Commission Copyright: Jure Makovec / European Commission Copyright: Jure Makovec / European Commission ReferenceC2.K6.IB Project locations Slovenia EU contribution€2 100 000 Project websitehttps://www.gic-gradnje.si/...
