Strengthening the dual System (Mission 5, Component 1, Investment 3)Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan supports young people and adults without secondary education accessing employment opportunities by increasing the number of people participating in formal education and vocational education and training through the dual system, including apprenticeship.In particular, this investment contributes to make the education and training systems more synergic with the labour market, as well as boosting the employability of young people through the acquisition of new competences, in line with the digital and green transition, with on-the-job learning.It will contribute to: (I) modernise the education and training system by favouring the creation of on-the-job learning and strengthening the dialogue with enterprises; (II) strengthen financial allocation to offer training in marginalised areas; (III) create a robust and inclusive governance that shall include economic and social partners.The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and resilience plan by EUR 600 million.The project "Realisation of training courses in dual mode (30% of the total number of hours in internships) aimed at issuing certificates of competences related to the professional figures of the National Directory of the Vocational Education and Training System (IeFP)" is part of this investment.The target assigned to the Dual System Investment envisages that, by 2025, the number of people who, out of the total number of participating Regions and PAs, will have participated in training activities under the dual system and will have obtained the relevant certification should increase from the current 39,000 to 174,000, for an overall increase of 135,000.For the training year 2022/23, the Region has been assigned a total number of 189 additional persons to be reached.Of these, 109 are expected to be involved in this project and in the other two pertaining to the measure called "Dual extra-duty Catalogue" which was the subject of a specific public notice issued by PD 8010/2022.Further allocations will be made for subsequent training years.The NRRP funds allocated to this project amount to EUR 78,000.
