This investment, which is supported by the Recovery and Resilience Facility with EUR 27 million (approximately DKK 201 million), enables Denmark to upscale the most promising technologies on the market in order to increase carbon storage in the agricultural sector. The pyrolytic method provides the agricultural sector with opportunities to eliminate bio waste stemming from production that would otherwise increase greenhouse gas emissions significantly.

The scheme will thus provide technologies for the agricultural sector that allow the sector to continue its production while reducing related greenhouse gas emissions.
