Bike path in via Perini

Investment in soft mobility (National Plan of Cycle Path)  (Mission 2, Component 2, Investment 4.1)

Italy’s Recovery and resilience plan provides for the construction of at least 565 km of cycling lanes in metropolitan areas and at least 746 km of tourist cycle paths.

Cycle paths shall facilitate first-mile and last-mile commuting – connecting locations in metropolitan areas to nearby railway or metro nodes, or universities to nearby railway or metro nodes.

The eligible tourist cycle paths are defined in Law no. 208 of 28 December 2015.

For this investment, the NRRP provides EUR 467 million at the national level.

As part of this investment, this project aims to build a cycle path along the entire Via F.lli Perini in order to connect the existing cycle path in Corso 3 Novembre with the one in Via G. Giusti; the new path will also provide a connection with the north-south backbone along Via Mattioli and Via. Endrici.

The NRRP funds allocated to this project amount to EUR 50,000.
